Blizzard Bags

Blizzard Bag Day 1:

Yesterday you read about how to find the area of a non-right triangle using trigonometry.  View this video for understanding  (just in case it was not understood yesterday) and try this worksheet.  Be sure to show your set up.

On another note, the final!  Please try these suggested problems in preparation for the final on Friday.  Bring in questions for tasc on Wednesday.

If you are having any trouble please email me.

Blizzard Bag Day 2:

To be determined.

Some day I will see all of you!!! Happy New Year!! :)

I would like you to view this video on factoring sum/difference of cubes.  This concept will be on your final exam.  After viewing this video try this worksheet. Whether you can print this worksheet or not, do thirty minutes of this worksheet and thirty minutes of the packet given to you in class involving functions.  Both topics will be on your final exam; which is coming up soon.  ;(  Bring the hour's worth of work with you to class tomorrow.

December 9, 2013

Today we will be taking an hour of code.  If you are familiar with coding and have an account through a code website, you may work on that, otherwise go to this site to get started.  If you are found online doing "something else" other than coding, you will get a zero for class work today.  If you happen to get through the codes  in blockly quicker than others, here is another site to continue with.

Beginning of Spirit Week - Monday October 7, 2013

Today we will continue to view more polynomial FUNctions.  We will review quadratics and then continue into end behavior, zeros and graphing of polynomial FUNctions.  We will watch this video dealing with translations.  The assignment will start with an investigation on pg 203, then lead into factoring (finding the zeros) and finally ending with work from the textbook.
